GENERAL NEWCOMER HELP

The YMCA of Greater Toronto has several Newcomer Information Centres where you can:

• Find up-to-date information to answer your questions about living in the Greater Toronto Area
• Get referrals to the community resources you need to settle into your life in Canada
• Attend information sessions with professional and multi-lingual staff to learn more about Canada’s culture and society
• Learn about your rights in Canada
• Get the information you need to find a job
• Use the resource library, computers, Internet connections, fax, and photocopier for free
• Learn how you can volunteer to gain Canadian working experience
