Oral (Optional)

What to Expect

• The oral is a one-to-one conversation.
• The conversation takes approximately fifteen minutes.
• The conversation is recorded. We supply the digital recorder - you do NOT have to bring a cassette!
• The examiner will ask you about your ideas, opinions, and personal experiences.

Tips

• Relax! There are no trick questions.
• The examiner's questions act as conversation starters.
• Participate in the conversation as fully as possible.
• Yes and no answers do not qualify as conversation.
• No two conversations are the same, so it does not help to memorize a pre-set speech.
